From a small home-cooking business during the pandemic to a growing Asian grocery store, JC Oriental was built through hard work, customer support, and a love for serving the community.

OUR STORY

JC Oriental officially opened on March 4, 2026, but the story began earlier during the pandemic with a home-cooking business making Sylvanas, Royal Bibingka, and eventually empanadas. What started from humble beginnings grew through persistence, customer feedback, and a desire to make life easier for others through good food and everyday essentials.

During the pandemic, the family behind JC Oriental began by making homemade products such as Sylvanas and Royal Bibingka. As customers shared suggestions, they started experimenting with empanadas, learning and improving along the way until the product became something they were proud of. That small home-based food business eventually grew into JC Oriental Store, created to explore new opportunities in retail while continuing the same spirit of service and hard work.

They chose their current location because it is close to home, easy to access, has wide parking, and is located in a safe neighborhood. From the start, the goal was to build a store that feels convenient, organized, and welcoming for every customer who walks in.
